At Westside Forestry, 2026 is a significant year for us as we celebrate 50 years of professional tree care. Since 1976, being a family-run business has meant more to us than just managing trees; it’s about being a part of the West Midlands community we serve.
Recently, we were proud to support a fantastic community initiative at Acorns Children’s Hospice in Selly Oak.
Working alongside Brian Wiley and the team at Morgan Sindall, Westside Forestry donated our time and specialist equipment to clear and cut back a tree line on the hospice grounds. It was a privilege to help ensure the environment remains safe and tidy for the children and families who rely on the vital services Acorns provide.
The project was part of a wider community effort, which also saw the Morgan Sindall team dropping off Easter treats for the families last week. For us at Westside, these local partnerships are the perfect way to mark five decades of working in areas like Selly Oak, Edgbaston, and Harborne.
